The online BAS in Internet and Web Development is a flexible, 60-credit-hour degree designed specifically for students who have earned an associate of applied sciences (AAS) from a regionally accredited institution. Once you begin the program, you will take 19 credit hours of General Studies, including Social-Behavioral Sciences and Humanities, Arts and Design; 15 credit hours of BAS core classes, which includes Computer Systems Technology and Enterprise Planning and Implementation; 21 concentration-based credit hours, including classes such as Multimedia Design, Planning and Storyboards, and Website and E-Commerce Strategies; and 5 assignable credit hours, which will be selected by working with your advisor.

Appropriate AAS degrees for this BAS are graphic design, graphic arts, fine arts, or a technical discipline with related work experience.

Will my web development degree say 'online'?

No, Arizona State University's diplomas don't specify whether you earn your degree online or in person. All diplomas and transcripts simply say "Arizona State University." That's because ASU Online students learn from the same faculty and receive the same course content as in-person students receive.
